salinas pig roast on sitePig Roaster

1. Pig & Roaster Rental

With this option, the customer purchases the pig, rents the roaster, and purchases any additional cooking material he or she would like. Salina's, then, sets the pig for the customer to cook at home on the roaster rental.

The pig comes racked, marinated, and seasoned.

Salina's pigs are 85 pounds each on average, and each pig is priced at approximately $235.00.

An 80 pound pig, after cooking and carving, typically, results in about 60 servings of pork. After cooking, the tender pork meat must be pulled apart, which is usually very easy to do. Cooked  pork meat ends up being very similar to a lightly smoked pulled pork.

In addition to the purchase of the pig, the roaster is rented separately. Salina's has charcoal and lighter fluid available for optional purchase, also.

2. On-Site Pig Roast

With this option, Salina's does it all! First, Salina's sets the pig. Then, we send a chef to come out and cook, carve, and serve the pig at your event.

The pig comes racked, marinated, and seasoned. The customer must verify whether he or she would like to keep the pig's head and feet on or have them off before cooking. This will, also, factor into the calculation of the pig poundage.
